All lessons are 1-hour and in-home. The first lesson is free, with no obligations. My scheduling is flexible, so I am sure we can find a time that works for you.

You get a full hour of expert instruction and feedback.

What ages do you teach?

7 and up. Children younger than 7 are developing their fine motor skills, and could have a difficult time focusing for an entire hour lesson.
What times are lessons scheduled?

Lessons are scheduled based on our mutual availability, with a fair amount of flexibility. Time slots depend on the fullness of my schedule and driving time from my previous lesson.
What do I need to get started?

First and foremost you need a keyboard. It can be electric, or real. I'm happy to assist in finding the right instument for you.
I don't have a piano yet, how do I choose the right one?"

Call or email me and I'd be happy to walk you through the steps of purchasing one. I will help you make the best choice for your situation.
Do you teach from a book?

Yes. However, all lessons are custom-tailored to students' goals and needs.
Does Northwest Piano offer recital opportunities?
